Meet Our Team

Shayla

I have been a Physical Therapist for 16 years. I received my Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2006 from the University of St Augustine in FL. I have experience in successfully treating patients with varying diagnoses in rehab, outpatient, acute, and home health settings. During which time I have seen firsthand the importance of prioritizing health and community.

I am excited to be a part of a small business dedicated to overall health and wellness. This opportunity allows me to share my knowledge and passion of fitness and healthy living with the San Antonio community. My nursing staff, with over 25yrs combined medical experience and I look forward to sharing the benefits of IV hydration with you. Come and experience feeling great and living well.

Dr. Mark Rodkey

Soon after completing fellowship, Dr. Rodkey was appointed medical director to establish and develop a new pediatric emergency department at the Cleveland Clinic, and served for 10 years. Seeking a new challenge, he moved to Boerne in 2009 to direct the Christus Santa Rosa pediatric emergency department, during the hospital’s transition to the standalone Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.  Beginning in 2014, Dr. Rodkey began traveling to several children’s hospitals in Texas and Nebraska, including the CH of SA pediatric emergency departments in Stone Oak and Westover Hills. Dr. Rodkey, as chief medical officer, managed medical issues at a camp in Texas for immigrant children during 2021.

Dr. Rodkey has received appointments to five medical schools. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and certified in basic life support (BLS), advanced pediatric life support (APLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), neonatal resuscitation (NRP), and advanced trauma life support (ATLS).

With a tenure including 30 years of experience within the emergency department at children’s hospitals, 15 years of experience as medical director, and one year as chief medical officer, Dr. Rodkey has created an office-based, pre-emergency practice, to serve the children of Boerne and surrounding communities.  His team is striving to help parents when their children are sick or injured, utilizing a direct care model, to keep them out of the emergency department.
